Core Technology

Ultra-High Pressure Water Jet Principle

At the heart of the system is a high-performance plunger pump that pressurizes standard tap water to a working pressure of 600–1400 bar. The system adopts a single-orifice linear jet design paired with a self-driven rotating nozzle structure. Through either manual or automatic path control, the jet scans across the target surface, expanding point-by-point impact into full-area coverage. The instantaneous impact force of the high-pressure water jet acts continuously on the casting shell without exerting any stress on the workpiece substrate, achieving fast and complete removal of the investment mold shell.

Aerospace Precision Casting Foundry Successful Project

A leading China-based aerospace precision investment casting manufacturer applied Fedjetting’s automated de-shelling system for turbine blade and aircraft structural alloy castings. Previously relying on manual hammering + chemical alkaline stripping, the factory suffered high scrap rate from thin-wall part cracking, heavy chemical waste and low daily output. After equipment deployment, shell stripping efficiency rises over 65%, part reject rate drops from 12% down below 1%, all chemical usage is eliminated, and unmanned continuous production is realized to match fast-growing aerospace component batch orders. The customer later purchased a second identical unit to expand their automotive turbocharger casting production line.
